Com-Pac Yachts Rendezvous
August 2-3, 2008

Through the years, many Com-Pac enthusiasts have suggested that a gathering of Com-Pac owners on the Chesapeake Bay would be a great idea, and so this year we have decided that one should take place!
All Com-Pac owners are invited to attend a rendezvous to be held at the beautiful Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, MD on Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3, 2008.
Here is the schedule of events:
Saturday August 2, 2008
2:00pm - 5:00pm Arrival at Tred Avon Yacht Club & Registration
4:00pm - 6:30pm Cocktails/Cash Bar with Hors d'oeuvres, Meet & Greet the Com-Pac Family with the Pierce Family Trio singing all your favorite island/ boat melodies. Enjoy the sunset over the Tred Avon River from the veranda with your sailing friends!
4:00pm - 6:30pm Enjoy viewing the photo collection contest of your boats!
5:00pm - 6:00pm Judging of Boats for Best Dressed Ship award
6:30pm Delicious Sit Down Dinner - (Boat Casual Attire) Crab cakes & Chicken Picata; assorted fresh vegetables; baked potato; garden salad; summer desserts.

Please bring your framed photo to the event. They will be on display for all to see and judging will be at 6:00.

Creative Innovation Award:
Submit a photo of your creative invention for your boat, or a creative idea that Gerry would love!

8:00am - 9:30am Breakfast Buffet in club dining room includes bagels, muffins, jams, scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, fresh fruit selections, coffee, and juices
8:00am - 9:00am: Flea Market of your used boat items you wish to sell. Tables will be provided. Please let us know by registration if you will be participating.
10:00am - 12pm Parade of the Com-Pac Fleet on the waters around Oxford
12pm - Bon Voyage! See you at the next rendezvous!
Cost for each attendee for all events, surprise gifts and meals: $120.00 per person. Children under 12 are free.

Dockage is available is $1.00 per foot at the Tred Avon Yacht Club plus $10.00 for electric per night, on a first come, first served basis. Please let us know if you wish to use the docks for your boat. Both floating and fixed docks are available. Reservations must be made by you directly with the yacht club. Clean bathhouses are always open; close to the docks & include great showers!
If you are bringing your boat by land, the best launch facility is at the Bellevue Boat Ramp, literally across the Tred Avon River from Oxford and an easy sail away. It is big and deep enough for boats up to 25'. You will be required to have a Talbot County launch pass for any ramp in Talbot County, and we will provide one with your paid registration. Please call for additional questions or concerns.
